Board & Officers

The directors and executive officers who carry the company's obligations — including the ones that cost us orders.

Leadership

Eleven people,
named.

Board composition, committee membership and the independence assessment are set out in Governance. Portraits are placeholders — drop your images into assets/img/team/ using the filename shown on each card and they will appear automatically.

Tan Wei Jie, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Tan Wei Jie

陈伟杰

Founded DeepMedic Pharma in March 2004 after two years as a validation engineer at a contract manufacturer in Tuas, where he spent most of 2003 writing deviation reports against a European sterilizer whose supplier could not explain its own control logic. The company's founding proposition — build pharmaceutical equipment in Asia and ship it with documentation an inspector can follow — has not changed in twenty-two years. Chairs the Board and holds the CEO role; the combination is disclosed as a departure from the Code of Corporate Governance and is offset by a Lead Independent Director and a majority-independent Board.

Lim Boon Hock, Executive Director · Purchasing Manager

Executive Director · Purchasing Manager

Lim Boon Hock

林文福

Joined 2008. Sits on the Board as an executive director while running group purchasing — an unusual combination that exists because supplier decisions in this business are quality decisions. Holds the approved-vendor list and the authority to refuse a component on documentation grounds alone.

Brenda Faye, Director, Quality Control
Photo placeholderassets/img/team/brenda-faye.jpg

Director, Quality Control

Brenda Faye

布伦达·费伊

Joined 2012 from a Tuas contract manufacturer. Runs quality control and the validation department, reporting to the Board's Quality Committee rather than to Sales. Has exercised the shipment stop four times since 2016, twice in the final week before dispatch.

Goh Kah Seng, Senior Managing Executive Officer

Senior Managing Executive Officer

Goh Kah Seng

吴家胜

Joined 2006 as the eleventh employee, when the company had one product. Now the senior executive officer below the CEO, with the four segment heads and the service organisation reporting through him. Chairs the design review board.

Adrian Yeoh Zhi Hao, Operating Officer · Plant Operations

Operating Officer · Plant Operations

Adrian Yeoh Zhi Hao

Joined 2015. Responsible for Tuas Plant 1, the Jurong Precision Centre and the Senai fabrication centre — 52,000 m² and 896 people. Led the 2026 Senai expansion and the ASME IX orbital welding qualification that came with it.

Operating Officer · Supply Chain & Logistics

Sharon Ng Hui Xian

黄慧娴

Joined 2017. Owns the twenty-year spares commitment, which means she owns the obsolescence problem. Built the Mumbai and Suzhou depot network and the component end-of-life watch that has triggered fourteen funded redesigns since 2016.

Head of Marketing Department

Rachel Teo Yun Qi

张韵琪

Joined 2020. Runs marketing across eight markets in three languages, which in a capital equipment business means technical publications, application notes and trade shows rather than campaigns. Responsible for making sure our claims match our test data before they leave the building.

Nurul Aisyah binti Rahman, Recruitment Officer
Photo placeholderassets/img/team/nurul-aisyah.jpg

Recruitment Officer

Nurul Aisyah binti Rahman

Joined 2021. Hires engineers, welders and field service staff across Singapore and Johor, and runs the graduate programme that puts every new engineer into four weeks of field service before they are allowed to design anything. Certified in Singapore employment and work pass practice.

Kelvin Sim Jia Wei

沈家伟

Joined 2013 as an apprentice fitter. Supervises the aseptic assembly bay at Tuas Plant 1 — the isolator and filling line floor — and signs the internal release before a unit enters factory acceptance testing. Twenty-two people report to him.

张昱文

Appointed 2021 with the opening of the Suzhou applications centre. The company's registered representative in China, responsible for NMPA registration matters, customer relationships and the applications and service team across the mainland.

Board composition

Who sits where.

The Board comprises the Chairman & CEO, one executive director, and independent non-executive directors forming a majority. Committee terms of reference are published in full under Governance.

Two independent director seats are shown by role pending the appointments disclosed on 19 June 2026. The Quality Committee is a standing committee of the Board — unusual for an SGX issuer, and the mechanism by which the validation department is kept out of Sales' reporting line.
